FeedDemon

I’ve always liked the work that Nick Bradbury has done, I’ve used both Homesite and TopStyle since I started web development.

Recently I took a look at FeedDemon which is a great RSS reader. It has some amazing features, like Hit the Panic Button, which removes old feeds if the number of unread feeds gets to high. Starring items, emailing items, watching where if a feed comes in with a term that matches a watched keyword FeedDemon will group them together. One of the best features it has is its integration with Google Reader.

The latest version 3.0.0.41 has full synchronisation with Google Reader, well as good as you can get without a published API. I hope that the Google Reader integration I’m trying to add to ShareFire is as smooth as FeedDemon.
