So now everyone has the iPhone, they are all convinced that Flash is dead, if its not on the iPhone/iPad it doesn't exist.
As the only Flash developer in the team I feel that its my job to defend Flash and explain that while its not on the iPhone Flash is still a viable option.
Like all companies we are taking mobile very seriously, and the iPhone platform is the first choice now for mobile development, but with the growth of the Android platform Flash can't be ignored as a option for mobile development.
This is the argument I have to keep making, yes Flash isn't on the iPhone or the iPad (two platforms) and with HTML 5 its not as dominate as it once was on the web, but the Flash Platform is more than just the iPhone and the web. Its the Android platform, TVs, games consoles and desktop (four different platforms).
Unfortunately a lot of people have listened to what Apple have been saying, because in part to their love for their iPhones (which are great phones), but the iPhone/iPad platform isn't the only platform out there, its just the most popular at the moment (and this seems to be changing fast).
So I'll to keep making the argument for Flash, well until HTML 5 comes out.
