I've been trying to find the best tasks app for android, here's a list of my requirements:
1. Desktop support
2. Multiple lists for GTD
3. Good looking UI
4. Free
I've used Astrid, Taskos, Wunderlist, Springpad, Doit.im and GTasks. Currently the one I'm using is GTasks, which links to your tasks in Gmail even before the Google Tasks API was released. The UI has recently had a upgrade, and it supports multiple lists.
GTasks is great, works well the synchronisation is getting better in the latest version. Moving tasks between lists is a bit poor, compared to Wunderlist.
I did enjoy using Wunderlist and may go back to it, but it's nice to have your task linking with your email and calendar.
So if you are looking for a good task app for your Android phone I suggest you give GTasks a go.
